My Design Philosophy is "Simple" and "Minimal", because I believe a web sites should be easy to comprehend and its message is trouble-free to understand. The more information you put on a page will simply clutters the message.

Fido Solution Inc.

A Side Project from Fido Solution Inc - Markville Shopping Centre. They needed a few poster design for their Mother's Day Promotion in the York Region Mirror Newspaper as well as the in-store display poster.

Trimar Imports Ltd. - Winery Import

Alexandra wants me to help design the branding for her new start up company which imports European wine products to the Canadian market. She needed someone to help create and design a brand that illustrates lifestyle products of her business.

The challenge for this project is to find the most appropriate stock photos to create atmosphere for each session of the site.

Robust Roasters Coffee Roasting Equipment

Robust Roasters is a small start up business who came to me and they wanted to advertise their business but they want to save money on printing and promoting the exclusive coffee beans roasting equipments they carry in North American, so to help them accomplish their goal to save money on print materials I help them designed a very nice product catalog so that their clients to get all the information they need. Also I took a step further to help them design their Marketing image to the public and define the company's core colours scheme.

LS Limousine Service - Downtown Toronto

LS Limousine Group is a family business, they were looking for a basic web site that can help them approach more customers with the Internet and they came to me with a budget in mind, and I understand their needs and explain to them how I can help even though if you have a budget that we can work with, so that could be the challenge for this project, but in the end everything should look just as good.

I2 Skin Care by Ivana K.

I2 is an old web site that Ivana has for over 4 to 5 years and the version of I2 was done by a friend of Ivana who have basic knowledge of HTML and produced a web site that are completely coded in Tables which such practice are deprecated at the present and her web site needs a makeover in overall with functionalities, outlook as well we convenient for Ivana to have an AFFORDABLE SHOPPING CART in place where you can sell her skin care products online.

The challenge is to create a design that are backward compatible to older version of web browsers such as Internet Explorer 6 because of her clienteles.

Jon Brook - Canadian Singer and Song Writer

Jon's web site comes from inspiration of a photo I've found from deviantart's web site. Jon Brook is a Canadian Song Writer and Singer and wants his web site to portrait something that's like old Russian '60 atmosphere. With a sense of remembering of the World War II.

The Challenge is pretty much on the layout that delivers the type of feeling and expression to his fans and potential customers.

PixelPills Photography

Patrick owner of Pixel Pills found me from Google's local business one day and he asked me(Darren) if I can help him improve this web site. He likes the simple and minimal design philosophy that I have, so I reply with a simple and passionate attitude of creating an artistic layout to showcase his photos. I also implemented a powerful and easy to Content management system thus him can easy managed his contents. As a result of good design now his web site ranked first page of Google Generic Keyword Results. The challenge right colours to balance the overall experience and satisfy the client's need.

Tung Hing Bakery

Tung Hing Bakery is a project that I have worked for a friend which happen to be the owner's daughter. The project is fun and overall experience is very positive since it is my first project.

The reason why I choose the Gold, Brown and Light Brown theme in their colour palettes it is because that's the colour scheme of the breads and pastries therefore I want to give their visitors a warm and traditional impression when anyone first landed their homepage.

The challenges are more revolve around the amount of photos we have to edit and prepare for each product.
